Whiteland Volunteer Fire Department

Mission Statement
of the
Whiteland Volunteer Fire Department

To provide fire suppression and emergency services for all the people in the fire protection district in Whiteland, Indiana. Part of our mission is to reduce the loss of life and property through ongoing training of personnel, fire prevention and inspection, and the constant upgrading of equipment to meet the needs of the community.

Here you will find eager hard working volunteers trained in emergency response to handle  your emergency needs.  Equipped with the tools needed to respond to multiple calls or incidents at one time.

The firefighter and ems personnel are ready and on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. 100% unpaid volunteers prepared to drop what they are doing at the sound of the alarm to help their fellow citizen in their time of need.

More hours of training than most do at their careers... WVFD volunteers find themselves prepared for any situation no matter the level of difficulty due to the extensive training.

Not just a fire department but a family...

We are always accepting applications to volunteer. Stop by the station  and ask for an application to membership. Give us a call anytime, or just stop by.
